Built on a Ranch, Perfected in Portland
Wyld was founded in 2015 by Aaron Morris and Chris Joseph, two spirits-industry veterans who saw an opportunity to bring craft-quality standards to the cannabis edibles market. Working out of a farmhouse in Tumalo, Oregon — on a ranch that was already licensed for growing cannabis — they began experimenting with small-batch gummy recipes.
The first batches were, admittedly, not great. But through relentless iteration with their gelatin supplier and a commitment to using real fruit, they perfected the recipe that would become Wyld’s signature: a gummy that actually tastes like fruit, not like cannabis oil.
In 2016, Wyld moved to Portland, Oregon and began scaling production while maintaining the artisan quality that made those first flavors — marionberry and raspberry — local favorites. Today, Wyld is the most popular cannabis edible brand in America, available in dispensaries and online across the country.
Remarkably, Wyld has never taken outside investment. Every dollar of growth has been earned by making products people love and tell their friends about.
